Where do Prince Harry and Meghan Markle live?

The royal wedding of the year is done and dusted! Despite a few family dramas and a super long sermon, it went without a hitch! So as the cake is eaten, the streets are cleaned, and some poor bugger has to take down all those flowers, it’s time for Harry and Meghan to settle down and enjoy the sweet married life.

Which left me wondering –  where does the Duke and Duchess of Sussex live?

For the moment, the loved-up pair are happily settled in Nottingham Cottage (or Nott Cott as its affectionately known as) within the grounds of Kensington Palace. From the limited photos and information of the cottage available, it appears to be a quaint, 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom Victorian style cottage. It also features a kitchen, living room, and 2 reception rooms.

I’ve marked its position within Kensington Palace on a Google map below– can you feel the love radiating from it?

And whilst there are very few photos to be found of the interior of the cottage,  you can get a glimpse of Meghan’s sense of style from some of her Instagram photos. (Her account has now been closed due to becoming a fully-fledged Princess).

She seems to have a relaxed, homely style and has decorated in crisp whites and neutral creams with added pops of colour from abstract pieces, books or flowers.  She lives for comfort with loads of pillows and throws which create a cosy feel throughout.

How long the newlyweds will remain at the cottage is anyone’s guess. Both the Prince and Princess have talked about their desire to start a family. With only 2 bedrooms there will not be enough room to accommodate a growing royal family at Nott Cott. The rumour mill suggests that Harry has been eyeing off Apartment 1 within Kensington Palace. Apartment 1 boasts 21 bedrooms – that’s a lot of bedrooms to fill with the pitter patter of baby feet! The new apartment is conveniently next door to Kate and William’s exclusive 1A apartment where they currently reside. At least Kate will be on hand to help Meghan and Harry with their tribe of royal babies!
